My Favourite Things

Hello everyone and welcome to my world! I am Paola.

I am stepping into YouTube with a bit of shyness, but above all with a great desire to fulfill a dream I’ve held since I was a little girl: telling stories through animated cartoons. For various family reasons, I wasn’t able to follow my passion for drawing when I was young. But that dream stayed right there, kept warm in my heart, brooding for years.

n the meantime, I wrote a book of stories where the main characters were my furry friends — the dogs, cats, and bunnies who walked beside me and helped me through the hardest years.
As I wrote, the images presented themselves vividly in my mind: I wanted to make them visible through words, detailing every color, every setting.
But those images asked for more: they asked to come alive. Back when we lived those adventures, today’s smartphones didn’t exist. All I have left of their lives with me are old photos shot on film and printed on paper.
Yet, in those memories, there is still so much love, beauty, sweetness, and wisdom that I’d love to share. How could I show them to others if my hand isn’t trained to draw? I carried years of regret for not attending art school… until today!

Right now, thanks to new technologies, part of the work can be done by… Artelligence!
Yes, “Artelligence! “It’s the word I coined to replace that tongue-twister phrase “Artificial Intelligence”. A.I. or I.A. were just vowels… Artelligence is a new word for a new world!

And so, I have no more excuses. I study the prompts, start from a real photo, and rework it in my favorite cartoon style. I write the script, create the dialogues, generate the scenes, edit the video clips… and just like that, my first animated cartoons are born right before my eyes, as happy and amazed as a child witnessing magic!

The very same magic I felt as a little girl at the cinema watching Mary Poppins, wondering: “How on earth did those actors step inside the cartoons?”

Behind 4 or 5 minutes of video, there are days and days of hard work, tests, and experiments. But if I managed to learn AutoCAD and 3DMax in a year, I will master even the most complex editing software! A bit of healthy self-encouragement never hurts! 😉

And that’s where you come in — my very first, brave viewers.

I need your support, your likes, your shares, and your warmth to help this project grow. It will also feature children’s books, blog articles, and many other stories.

This channel is meant to be a relaxing pause: a peaceful place to recharge tired energies and nourish ourselves with the beauty that we humans can — and must — cultivate.

My YouTube Channel Follow my little stories, smile at their simplicity, and share them with anyone who still wants to feel like a dreaming child, hopeful for a better world.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart… and welcome to My Favourite Things!
